For eligible members whose treatment plan includes prevocational skill building, we offer hands-on training in the following:

PRODUCTION WORKSHOP

Our Workshop provides a supportive workplace environment where members develop marketable skills while earning commensurate wages. Within the well-supervised workshop, members perform product assembly and disassembly, packaging, labeling, inspection, and shipping tasks.

FOOD SERVICES

Our members learn all aspects of large-scale meal production in our food services program. They become familiar with food preparation techniques, hot and cold food service, and kitchen safety. Members assist our professional kitchen staff with preparing and delivering meals to various adult daycare facilities, mental health agencies, and schools throughout North Jersey. Breakfast and lunch are served daily in our cafeteria, providing them with face-to-face customer service experience.

JANITORIAL / MAINTENANCE

Our program offers the opportunity to develop office cleaning and building maintenance skills. Members learn general building maintenance, bathroom, office, and kitchen cleaning, as well as recycling and garbage removal.

GRAPHICS / EMBROIDERY

Our members assist the Graphics Supervisor with preparing garments and other promotional products. This may include stitching, embroidery, folding, and packaging of items.
