North Jersey Friendship House 60th Anniversary Gala Celebration – Thursday, April 11
Dear Families and Friends of Friendship House:
On Thursday, April 11, North Jersey Friendship House (NJFH) will celebrate its 60th Anniversary at The Venetian in Garfield, New Jersey. We will commemorate our Diamond Anniversary, highlighting the dedication of our staff and friends and the collaboration of our community partners. Most importantly, our 60th Anniversary Gala will applaud the success of our members, the people we support in our community, through programs that aim to “Build Skills for Productive Lives.”
We have all heard the statistics on the staggering rise of mental health conditions in our country, the resulting need for clinical and vocational rehabilitation to regain and maintain productive integration in the community, and the significant rise in Autism diagnosis. NJFH meets the needs of the community head by offering comprehensive clinical and vocational rehabilitation services, day habilitation, supported employment, and most importantly, the firm belief, based on evidence, in the ability of our members to accomplish their goals and reach the heights of their dreams.
This year’s honorees are:
John McKendry, Honorary Trustee, and his wife, Audrey Newman, who has also served as a Trustee, are both unrelenting supporters of NJFH and its mission.
Michael Kates, Esq. Honorary Trustee, who has continued to serve the agency professionally, always advocating for our success.
Our community partners honored are:
The Meadowlands Chamber, with whom we have maintained a strong collaborative relationship through the years in support of the community.
Inserra Supermarket Shoprite Stores, thank you for your collaboration in obtaining successful employment for our members.
We hope you will attend and consider sponsorship, as we rely on your generosity to further our mission.
Warm regards for a Happy New Year,
Dinorah R. D’Auria Kim A. Pulido
